Every March the Rocheport General Store hosts Rocheport Irish Road Bowling on the 240 Spur. Participants and spectators dressed in spring regalia and Irish-green commence the game at the end of the spur near Highway 40. Each member of the selected teams tosses the small, iron ball down the road toward the City of Rocheport. The team who has made it to the finish with the least amount of throws are hailed as the victors. All then adjourn to the General Store for a proper Irish meal and a pint of stout.
