 Friends of Rocheport Historical Museum                          

The museum displays local items from the early 19th century through the beginning of the 20th century.  The museum is located at the corner of First and Moniteau Streets and is generally open May through October, Saturdays and Sundays, 1:00 to 4:00 P.M.                               

 Bauernhof Siebeneck Books and Art Gallery

The Bookstore carries antique, vintage and collectible books as well those in all genres.  Works of art also hang on the walls of the store.  The Sleepy Hollow Art Gallery is in the barn at Bauernhof Siebeneck next to the main house.  The Gallery is located at the intersection of Third and Central Streets and is open Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.  Inside of the Sleepy Hollow Art Gallery at Bauernhof Siebeneck you'll find, paintings, sculpture/3-dimensional art, bird houses and folkart.

 Shirahaze Gallery

Shirahaze Gallery sells pottery by award-winning artist Yukari Kashihara.  Cool Photo prints by Tom Scharenborg are also in the gallery.  You can find Shirahaze at 200 Second Street in Rocheport. The Museum of Art and Archaeology

The museum of Art and Archaelogy is remarkable collection of pieces spanning a great range of time and representing many cultures of the world.  It includes examples of art, architecture and artifacts. The Museum is located at 1 Pickard Hall on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia, ten miles east of Rocheport.

 

 

The Museum of Anthropology

The collection includes a variety of Native American artifacts as well as items from Missouri's prehistory and those from pioneer days. It is located at 100 Swallow Hall on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia.
